Honoring Our Martial Arts Brother: Peter Kwong

Forever a Part of Our Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved martial arts brother, Peter Kwong — a true pillar of our community and an irreplaceable part of our family.

From the very beginning, Peter has been a constant source of support and love. When we first opened our doors, Peter was there. Year after year, he proudly joined us in the Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown, walking alongside us, celebrating our culture, and lifting up our students for more than 20 years. Whether it was a local event, a student recognition ceremony, or a community outreach, Peter never missed an opportunity to show up and give his all.

But Peter was more than just a friend. He was a brother, a mentor, an entertainer, and a friend. His presence brought a special kind of joy — a mix of laughter, warmth, and heartfelt encouragement. He had a way of making everyone feel seen and celebrated, and his spirit truly lit up every room and every street corner he touched.

Peter believed in the power of martial arts to shape strong character, build community, and nurture the next generation. He stood for honor, unity, and respect — the very values that are at the core of our martial arts family. His legacy is not only in the events he attended, but in the lives he touched and the memories he helped create.

Though we mourn his passing, we are grateful for the time we shared. His laughter and his stories live in our hearts, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.

Thank you, Peter, for everything. For your love. For your dedication. For being a part of our journey. You will always have a place in our hearts and in the story of our community.

Rest in power, Brother Peter.

Your memory is our treasure.

🕊️❤️🥋

With love and gratitude,

Your Martial Arts Family
